25 creators are being given a free Mythic creature on Drifties. Each gets a unique referral code. For 30 days, they compete to see who can drive the most paying users to Drifties using their code. The 30-day clock starts on the date of the official launch announcement on @neondrifties.
20 of the 25 have been selected. 5 spots are open. If you want one, DM @neondrifties. The developer has full discretion over who gets the remaining spots.
All contestants will be announced on @neondrifties. New additions will be announced there as well. The full leaderboard with referral counts is viewable on a dedicated page in the live feed.
The creator with the most qualifying referrals at the end of the 30-day contest period receives 25% of net revenue from drifties.co for the remainder of 2026, paid within 30 days of each calendar month's end.
This might be $0 if it flops. We might not make it to December. That's the deal. If it works, the winner gets real money for helping build the community.
The winner can do whatever they want with it. Keep it, donate it to charity, light it on fire. No strings, no judgement.
The contest is only valid if the winning creator has at least 100 qualifying referrals. If no one reaches 100, the revenue share prize is not awarded. This ensures the contest drives meaningful growth, not just a handful of signups.
In the event of a tie, the winner is the creator who claimed their Mythic creature first, as recorded by system timestamp.
Selected creators have 21 days to claim their Mythic creature using their coupon code. After 21 days, unclaimed creatures become available to someone else. Use it or lose it.
Net revenue = gross revenue from drifties.co minus:
Operational costs will likely grow as the user base grows. We'll keep it as transparent as possible — all costs are tracked publicly on the Stats tab.
Net revenue also excludes refunds, chargebacks, and disputed transactions.
Revenue from all sources on drifties.co is included: subscriptions, top-offs, tips, adoptions, re-rolls, and any future revenue streams added through the end of 2026.

Monthly revenue share payments have a $25 minimum. If the amount owed in a given month is less than $25, it carries forward to the next month until the threshold is met.
Hatching a Drifty is free. The 7-day trial is free. The 25 selected creators receive their Mythic creatures with 90 prepaid days and 200 DriftCoin. Anyone can sign up and play without paying.
However, for the purposes of this contest, a referral only counts when the referred user makes their first purchase. The contest measures real paying users, not signups.
The contest itself is restricted to participants aged 18 and older, as the prize involves a financial arrangement. Playing the game has no age restriction beyond our standard terms of service.
If drifties.co is acquired before the end of 2026, the winner receives 25% of net revenue from drifties.co through December 31, 2026 under new ownership, or a proportional buyout negotiated with the acquirer.
The winner is responsible for all applicable taxes on their revenue share payments. A 1099 form will be issued if the total exceeds the IRS reporting threshold.
All official contest communications must go through X (Twitter) direct messages between the winner and @neondrifties. This is how we verify identity. The winner must provide valid payment information via DM within 30 days of contest end. Unclaimed prizes are forfeited.
We are extremely transparent. All referral counts, revenue data, and operating costs are available in real time on the Stats tab and The 25 leaderboard for the entire duration of the contest. All referral counts and revenue calculations become final 7 days after contest end to allow for verification. All final decisions are made by the developer.
The Drifties team reserves the right to modify these rules with 7 days public notice posted to @neondrifties.
Drifties is an AI-driven game — a modern Tamagotchi. It is not a cryptocurrency, blockchain project, NFT platform, or financial instrument of any kind. DriftCoin is an in-game currency with no real-world monetary value. The name is a fun nod to Bitcoin, nothing more. There are no tokens, no wallets, no blockchain, no trading. If a cryptocurrency called “DriftCoin” or an NFT collection called “Drifties” exists somewhere, we have no relationship to it. Do not buy it.
Drifties is a fun game and experiment made by a single developer. This contest is a fun way to try to gain some traction. Nobody has to participate. If you are one of the 25 and don't want to be mentioned or associated with this, just DM @neondrifties and we'll remove everything related to you. No hard feelings.
There is no Drifties team. This entire platform — every feature, every line of code, every creature personality — was built entirely by one person using AI tools like Claude. No lawyers, no employees, no investors, no funding, no team. These rules were not reviewed by a lawyer. This contest was not planned by a marketing department. It's one developer and an experiment in what's possible when you give one person the right tools.
